SHIHOTAKACERAMIC:
Shiho Takahashi

SMAart Gallery & Studio is pleased to present recent work by Shiho Takahashi.
“I love working with Clay and Glass.  Clay and Glass provides the best expression of my feelings.  Eternal ideas, with visions and forms from natural feelings, are what I want to express.  For example, when I tear clay with my hands, I can discover the beauty of the natural texture in the clay.  Also, when I’m working with glass, I’m looking for natural shapes and images.   I love my own space, so that is why I want to create objects for my own space in my work.  To make an improvement of my own world, and myself, I strive to be honest to my creations.”
